Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for optimising financial processes?

We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Microsoft Excel - Budget Tool Specialist to ensure the accuracy and functionality of our critical budgeting tool.

Duties and responsibilities

In this remote position, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our farm budgeting tool built on Excel. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meticulously reviewing and testing formulas within the tool to ensure they are functioning correctly and haven't been tampered with.
  • Implementing sheet protection to safeguard formulas and prevent accidental edits.
  • Formatting sheets for professional printing.
  • Developing additional functionalities such as profit margin tables on specific sheets.
  • Collaborating with the team to understand reporting needs and ensure the tool delivers valuable insights.

Skills and experience

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formula creation and manipulation.
  • A solid understanding of financial statements like balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in the agricultural industry.
  • Knowledge of VBA scripting in Excel.
