Working Hours: On average 2 hours per week, fixed term, 48 hours available over the whole academic year.
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Holiday Pay Rate: £1.38 per hour Location: Hybrid. University Park Campus/working from home
Duties and responsibilities
Main Responsibilities: Over the course of the 2024-25 the role will involve the following:
- Attending a regular in person short team meeting to agree targets and output.
- Creating social media content regarding key information and facilities at the University according to a schedule
- Liaising with student societies and course reps to ensure that messages are shared across as many platforms as possible.
- Supporting student focused events, such as mental health day.
- Working with the ESE team to develop ideas to increase engagement and spread awareness of university initiatives, such as Black History Month, LGBT+month, Disability Awareness Month according to the calendar, as well as Access and Participation projects, such as GRIT and Writing Cafes.
- Contributing blogs and articles to the ESE bulletins.
- Working with School ESE teams to support School based projects and initiatives.
- Any other duties appropriate to the role as the year develops.
