Role

 
We have an exciting opportunity for a level 5 student to join our Apprenticeship team here at the university on a 24 week placement. 
 
This role will require the successful applicant to complete a series of dynamic digital marketing activities, including but not limited to, promotional videos, apprenticeship advertising and marketing campaigns. 
The successful candidate will work with our Business Development Officers to support employer engagement and promotion. Whilst also working closely with our Recruitment Advisers, the candidate would help design and create promotional material that would support our recruitment service and showcase apprenticeships across the region. 

Duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be supporting to:

-    Create animated videos that promote apprenticeships, which will be played to schools and colleges.

-    Conduct research on how to improve our engagement with our target audiences.

-    Support with the creation and editing of employer or apprentice case studies.

-    Conduct research on how to best advertise apprenticeship opportunities.

-    Create fun and interactive videos that detail the benefits of completing an apprenticeship at Staffs.

-    Support with our social media presence, with the aim of reaching a wider audience. 

-    Interview current and former apprentices.

-    Work independently on assigned projects.

-    Work collectively as part of the apprenticeships team, relaying individual progress with the team on a weekly basis.

-    Creating an engaging and interactive apprenticeships digital footprint, with the aim of increasing the reach of apprenticeships within the local community.

The successful candidate will be:

-    Hardworking

-    Strong organisation skills

-    Creative

-    Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

-    Ability to deliver work at pace to tight deadlines

You must have passed level 5 and be eligible to proceed to placement year.

Please note that this job role is only open for Level 5 home for fees students only.
