Exciting role as Admin Support for Education and Early Childhood Studies Management Team.

Duties and responsibilities

The following outlines the key responsibilities and tasks associated with the role:

- Regular Attendance Tracking

- Ensure consistent and regular tracking of attendance during the academic year

- Verify the accuracy of attendance records in comparison to actual student presence

- Conduct weekly checks to maintain up-to-date attendance data

 

Track engagement including student assignment submissions and Canvas access.

- Implement systems to ensure that student engagement is consistently tracked and addressed

- Maintain tracking documents during the academic year

- Communicate issues with management team including year leaders

 

Supporting maintenance and setup of Canvas 

- Document checking including links

- Support module leaders with tracking non-submissions- Feed back to leadership team about relating to non-submissions

 

Additional Responsibilities

• Liaising with student success officer

• Liaising with external parties such as schools, service providers, community groups.

• Compile agendas and minute meetings

Skills and experience
Skills and Knowledge

- Basic spreadsheet skills
- Familiarity with virtual learning environments like Canvas
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently when required
