Description
Role
We are looking for a self motivated and analytical person who loves gathering and analysing data.
Duties and responsibilities
This Unitemp will organise and conduct 2 x 2 hour focus groups with previously identified participants , transcribe the data from these focus groups and undertake initial analysis of the key themes from the data. The focus groups form part of a piece of research entitled 'Evaluation of communities of practice for pre-registration occupational therapy students as a teaching and learning tool for contemporary practice placements' for which ethical approval has been sought and granted. The research leads will provide a semi-structured interview format based on the results from an initial survey for the Unitemp to use when conducting the focus groups. The focus groups will take place on MS Teams and be recorded to aid transcription. The Unitemp will organise and conduct the focus groups, transcribe the data and analyse the data for key themes. They will produce a report on these themes and feed these back tot he research leads.
Skills and experience
The right candidate will have experience with leading a focus group and/or analysing the responses and results of the excercise.
