Role

Join a dynamic and expanding legal practice specializing in private client law and high net wealth planning. Their boutique law firm prides itself on delivering tailored advice across a range of services including wills, trusts, probate, powers of attorney, tax planning, and court of protection applications. 

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in managing an existing diverse caseload of high-quality and complex matters as well as generating new leads. This will include supporting with progressing case files, client liaison and contributing to the firm's reputation for excellence and client satisfaction. They also prioritise building strong industry relationships for referrals, as well as fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for their team to thrive.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Draft and review legal documents Work on a caseload incorporating Wills, Trusts, estate administration, powers of attorney, taxation, asset protection and Court of Protection.
  • Undertake legal research and stay up to date with legislation
  • Ensure deadlines are met and clients are kept informed of progress
  • Attend meetings with clients to discuss their needs and provide appropriate legal solutions
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal team to provide a seamless service to clients
  • Maintain accurate records promote the firm's reputation and enhance business growth
  • Bring fresh ideas and suggested new approaches to working smarter

Skills and experience

Previous experience within private client law is preferred as well as strong research skills and a passion for private client work.

You will need excellent communication skills with a focus on client interaction and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This will require exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail and proficiency in managing multiple files and meeting strict deadlines.
