Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to work with our client on an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend. This is a fully office based role Monday-Friday
The Operations Officer/Administrator will work with and alongside colleagues to provide effective high-quality administrative support and excellent customer service, enabling key business activities to run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be tasked with
- Managing shared inboxes to action emails in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that all managements systems are accurate and updated on a regular basis.
- Keep a record of customer interactions (in line with GDPR) and ensure that telephone calls are answered in a positive and efficient way.
- Supporting with admin and event support to ensure that training courses meetings and events run smoothly.
- Greeting visitors to the office as required as well as printing/photocopying and data entry.
Skills and experience
- Proven administration experience is essential for this role.
- Excellent telephone manner as well as the ability to build relationships within the team.
- Experience of using CRM systems or other IT management systems is desired
- Intermediate/advanced user of Microsoft packages including MS Teams.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise workload.

Additional information
The salary for the role is £23,000-£25,000 based on experience and we are looking for someone to start asap and to join the team and make a real difference. The role is based in Birmingham City Centre.
