Role
Our client is a respected law firm in Solihull known for their exceptional legal services. They specialize in various areas of law and are currently seeking a proactive New Business Assistant to join their Conveyancing Department.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assisting in the generation of new business leads and opportunities.
- Preparing correspondence and documentation using the firm's case management system.
- Engaging with clients both on the telephone and in person to provide exemplary service.
- Administering filing systems, including managing client files and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Building and nurturing relationships with new business introducers.
- Guiding clients through the initial stages of their property transactions.
- Coordinating mail dispatch and arranging scanning and photocopying of paperwork.
- Undertaking any other duties and responsibilities as required to support the department's objectives.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in administration, preferably within residential conveyancing.
- Demonstrated initiative and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to perform under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong ambition to progress within the new business department.
- Background in sales or a solid understanding of legal services sales is advantageous.
- Excellent telephone manner and confidence in client communication.
