Role

Department: BAL\Accounting, Finance and Economics

  • The candidate will participate in all tasks required for a research project exploring the causal impact of fertility on breast cancer risk, from data preparation, formulating hypotheses, implementing the analysis, writing up the results and disseminating the conclusions.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Clean the data and produce descriptive statistics
  • Formulate testable hypotheses
  • Run econometric regressions using a statistical software (Stata)
  • Write up the results in a clear and professional fashion
  • Present the conclusions to various kind of audiences

Skills and experience

  • Good command of statistics and econometric methods
  • Good command and experience of a statistical software (preferably Stata)
  • Knowledge / interest for Economics and/or Public Health
  • Ability to communicate in both written and oral formats
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Eager to learn, not afraid to make mistakes and correct them
