An exciting opportunity have arisen for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join this prestigious companies marketing team as an Intern 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to an enthusiastic and committed individual to join their product development and marketing team as an intern. This fantastic opportunity will allow the right person to gain experience of the full product development process from market research and trends to packaging concepts and final gold sealing process and gain exposure within a hands on marketing department.

You will work within a fast-paced NPD and Marketing team, alongside talented designers, commercial product developers and creative digital and trade marketeers – assisting the team to deliver business critical projects across an exciting and market leading portfolio of award winning craft food and alcohol brands.

The role will mostly sit within the NPD team (3 days a week) with some weekly assistance to the marketing team (2 days a week).

Duties and responsibilities

Product Development:

  • Manage through all sample requests
  • Working with the team to build packaging specifications for all gift packs, across all ranges
  • General product admin across all sales channels
  • Assist with packaging concepts and design
  • Maintain organization of sample archives and sample product spares in our warehouse
  • Assist with product benchmarking across all categories
  • Assist with market research and trends where necessary
  • Assist the product developer with the administration of the gold seal process

    Marketing:

  • Market and competitor research within the food and drink industry
  • Researching and testing recipes for product usage
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of trade marketing assets
  • Provide administrative assistance to the marketing team
  • Assist with photoshoots
  • Assist with website management including uploading images and update product copy
  • Provide general day to day assistance to enable smooth running of projects through the team
