Description
Role
Our client based in Bolton is looking for an experienced Cleaner to join their team on a permanent basis.
Hours and days Monday to Friday 10-18.30
This role requires a basic DBS check. If you do not have one, you will need to be supervised until the DBS check is completed. During this time, the shift will be from 7am to 3pm.
Duties and responsibilities
- Maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the site.
- Complete daily tasks, prioritizing high-touch point areas.
- Promote Health and Safety and raise awareness among staff.
- Report defects/issues promptly to the relevant staff.
- Ensure effective and economical use of cleaning materials and equipment
- Ensure adequate supplies of cleaning materials and equipment are available to staff as required.
- Replenish hygiene materials daily.
- Fulfil reasonable requests from your line manager.
Skills and experience
- Experience in a similar role
- Capable of handling a wide variety of items on a daily basis
- Be able to respond to many requests and at times work under pressure to ensure customers requirements are met
- Responds positively to feedback and constructive criticism
- Seeks to develop own coaching ability, in order to help others
- Passes on knowledge in a constructive way to other staff
