To provide general administrative support and assistance to the Sales, Event and Reservations teams.

Duties and responsibilities

  • To assist with account set up for clients which involves processing MDR1, 1a & 2 forms.
  • To assist with processing credit application forms.
  • To assist and support with turnaround of contracts (filing, emailing confirmation, assigning to relevant person/team).To send out feedback emails following events.
  • To assist the event management team with email introductions, general admin on events and online delegate registration.  
  • To undertake any other duties as, from time to time, maybe required commensurate with the grade of the post.

Skills and experience

  • A-C in GCSE English or Maths or equivalent.
  • Recent experience working as an administrator or in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate in a calm, professional and sensitive manner at all times with people at all levels.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload and take direction from more than one person.
  • The ability to use initiative and to work quickly and accurately under pressure and to balance competing priorities.
  • Excellent administrative, clerical and IT skills, particularly use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • To demonstrate the ability to be able to work on own initiative and also as part of a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Department.
  • Ability to work with discretion on confidential matters.

Campus (some working from home - up to 2 days per week)
