Role
Unitemps are recruiting for Graduation Brand Ambassadors within the Vice President External Engagement department. The role is to work on the 8th July and between 2nd -6th September 2024 full-time at 8- 12 hour days. Payment is set at £13.95 + holiday pay per hour and the role will be in person based at Royal Festival Hall.
The graduation events will run from 7.30am - 8.30pm with shift patterns and built in breaks with catering provided throughout the day.
These events are our opportunity to celebrate our student’s academic achievements and we would be delighted for you to come and be a part of the fantastic team that makes it happen. We love to include Graduation Brand Ambassadors to help send our graduating students off in style!
Duties and responsibilities

Welcoming and registering graduates and guests, ushering, supporting the ceremony team with the auditorium by directing graduates to the stage and back to their seats.

Helpdesk support with selling guest tickets

Working on the merchandise stall selling and replenishing stock and directing guests around the building.
Skills and experience

A UCL student

Excellent communication skills

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Previous experience working as a student/brand ambassador or at graduation/ other UCL events

Additional information
Please note to be eligible to work within this role, you must have the right to work in the UK, be physically based in the UK and be able to travel to our London based office for a RTW check (if required). This job will close for applications at 11.59pm on 30th May 2024.
