Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative team consisting of web developer and graphic designer to develop an innovative website for our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Toolkit project. The successful candidates will work together to create a dynamic and interactive web platform, as depicted in the attached conceptual design (we will provide it during interviews), that aligns with our vision to educate and engage users on the EDI topics within a professional and academic environment.

Duties and responsibilities
Translate the concept design into a fully functional and responsive website.

Create interactive elements such as video overlays, buttons, and menu items that align with provided designs and functionality requirements.
Ensure compatibility and integration with SharePoint for seamless content management and delivery (if possible)
Collaborate with our internal team to refine visuals and user experience.Incorporate meaningful acronyms representing various activities into an intuitive navigation menu.
Develop an accessible and user-friendly interface that adheres to EDI standards.
Work within a set timeline, providing regular updates and adhering to project milestones.

Skills and experience

1 Web Developer and 1 Graphic Designer 
 
Proven experience in web development and graphic design, particularly with complex designs and interactivity.
Proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with SharePoint integration.
Experience with Adobe Dreamweaver or similar web development tools.
A strong portfolio demonstrating both technical and creative skills.
Ability to interpret design concepts and narratives into web functionalities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with a remote team.
Understanding of web accessibility guidelines and a commitment to creating inclusive digital experiences.
