Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Plumbing Technician for a full-time position at Aldershot College. Duties and responsibilities
- Instruct students in plumbing qualifications and other building-related courses.
- Order and prepare materials and equipment for practical activities, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Maintain and repair equipment to uphold optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with the academic team to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
- Contribute to the development of instructional materials and assessments.
- Stay informed about industry trends and integrate relevant advancements into teaching practices.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
Skills and experience
- Recognized plumbing qualification.
- Practical experience in the field of plumbing.
- Previous experience working in the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Organized, motivated, and a proactive team player.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively instruct and engage students.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and equipment maintenance.
- Previous experience in Further Education is an advantage, but applications from those seeking a change in career are welcome.
