Our client is currently recruiting for a Technical Inside sales person to join their team. This role is in a fast paced sales engineering environment with targets to acquire for new customers, increasing the revenue growth for an organisation, and making sure all aspects of the sales orders meets the requirements of the clients and the company.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Making calls and following up with clients to meet their needs.
  • Developing relationships with potential clients and maintaining good relationships with existing clients.
  • Developing and analysing data to determine how to better accommodate new and existing customers.
  • Performing research on accounts to help increase interest in the organisation.
  • Offering demonstrations for products and services to potential buyers.

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals.
  • Proficiency with various Computer Software System.
  • Ability to comfortably talk to others.
  • Ability to make cold calls to generate new clients.
  • Good Written and Oral Communication skills for creating professional documents and giving presentations to interested clients.
  • Good Time Management and Organisational skills.
  • Ability to Listen to Concerns and Handle Criticism without taking it personally.
  • Willingness to travel to give presentations, meet with potential customers, attend conferences, trade shows, and other events.
  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), to include Maths, English and preferably a technical or science subject -Ideally have a formal qualification - NVQ / ONC / HNC / Degree or apprenticeship served.
