Pixel Toys are continuing to grow their team and are always on the lookout for highly talented and motivated individuals, who are passionate about gaming and excited to join them on an ambitious journey.
They currently have a very exciting opportunity for a Graduate UI Technical Artist to join their team.
Duties and responsibilities
In this role you’ll be at the forefront of creating immersive visual experiences for our mobile casual game projects, working alongside a talented and experienced team.
As a Graduate UI Technical Artist, you will collaborate with our talented development team in order to implement captivating screen layouts in Unity, showcasing your eye for detail and design.
This position will allow you to illustrate your asset generation and importing skills, breathing life into our projects. Using your expertise in UI VFX, including particle systems and shaders, you will create visually stunning experiences.
This is a great opportunity for a Graduate or Junior to deliver impressive screen builds and broadcast-style animations that amaze our audience.
Skills and experience
Having gained a Degree in a relevant field, you’ll be joining us with a strong understanding of UI layout tools within Unity which will enable you to craft visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces. In addition to this, your solid grasp of graphic design fundamentals (including layout, typography, composition, hierarchy, and balance) will enable your creations to captivate our audience.
Having had to present ideas during your studies, we’re sure that you have great communication skills and so will find it a breeze to collaborate with various departments; understanding and seamlessly translating technical concepts into clear and concise communication. Additionally, your ability to present your work confidently to stakeholders and the wider team will enable you to showcase your artistic vision and foster collaboration.
