Role

Pixel Toys are continuing to grow their team and are always on the lookout for highly talented and motivated individuals, who are passionate about gaming and excited to join them on an ambitious journey.

They currently have a very exciting opportunity for a graduate programmer to join their team.

Duties and responsibilities

In this role you’ll be at the forefront of developing and maintaining our mobile casual game projects, working alongside our experienced team.

With a passion for game development you’ll gain ample opportunity to contribute to the implementation of game mechanics, features, and systems using Unity3D. Your responsibilities will span the entire game development lifecycle, from prototyping to testing, optimisation, and beyond.

Working closely with artists and designers, we welcome you to provide creative ideas and in line with the latest industry trends. This position will also enable you to embrace continuous self-improvement and unlock endless possibilities for growth.

Skills and experience

You will be joining us with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or another related field.

Join us and test your expertise in C# and Unity3D game development, along with a demonstrated understanding of gameplay mechanics, UI, and physics. You will be proficient in object-oriented programming and software design patterns, and familiar with mobile game development practices and optimisation techniques.

Join our collaborative team, where your problem-solving skills and proactive attitude will shine. Attention to detail, a commitment to high-quality work, and a passion for gaming (particularly the casual mobile game market), are key.
