THE ROLE
On behalf of our Leicester Client, we are seeking to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant for a young adult with complex behavioral needs. We are looking for a candidate who has patience, creativity, and a full commitment to the client's well-being.
You will be working on a 2:1 basis to ensure the client receives the best possible care and support in their daily activities.
We are looking for multiple candidates to cover various shifts, with the possibility of rotating schedules if enough staff are available - please see the working hours available listed below.

Shifts Available:
Weekends:
Saturdays: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Sundays: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Weekdays (Starting 2nd September):
Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Monday & Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 3:15 PM - 9:15 PM
Overnight Shift:
Friday 8:00 PM - Saturday 8:00 PM (Once a month, 1 staff member required)
A valid DBS check is required. If employed directly by us, we will arrange this. If you are transferring from another agency, we will accept an existing DBS from the update service.
Training:
Training will be provided during the probationary period, focusing on the client's specific needs and behavior management strategies.
Successful completion of the probation period is required to receive full training.
Duties and responsibilities
Assist client with personal care, including morning routines and meal preparation.
Skills and experience
Previous experience in support work or working with individuals with complex behavioral needs is preferred.
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with other staff members.
Commitment to the client's well-being and willingness to engage in his preferred activities.
A valid DBS check is required. If employed directly by us, we will arrange this. If you are transferring from another agency, we will accept an existing DBS from the update service.
