Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with the University of Leicester’s Student Lifecycle Team during the busy graduation delivery period. The role will involve working as part of a small team to ensure the smooth running of all production requirements for graduation from preparing certificates and transcripts to dealing with graduation enquiries. Please note, due to the nature of the work we are unable to accept applications from current University of Leicester students.

Duties and responsibilities
• To sort, quality check and envelope graduation documents.
• To prepare graduation documents for the July Graduation Ceremonies.
• To dispatch graduation documents for international and home students.
• Assist in reviewing the degree congregation brochure.
• To respond to basic graduation queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• To assist with other related administrative tasks to support graduation and the start of term.

Skills and experience
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience in a Higher Education environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Ability to work under pressure towards tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent IT skills and experience of handling large amounts of data.
• Ability to work well as part of a small team.

Hours and Days: Full time 7 hours a day, usually 9am-5pm with one hour unpaid lunch, you may be expected to work alternative hours on occasion but this will be requested with notice.
