Role
We are looking for Exercise Instructors to teach group exercise classes in both of our Sports Centre’s, to cover existing instructor classes, initially for holiday and illness with the potential of permanent classes in the future.

Duties and responsibilities
• To instruct effective Group Exercise Classes to motivate members in a positive professional enthusiastic manner. Provide varied and innovative exercise classes, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction, to generate new users and retain existing members
• To work as part of the Sport and Active Life team developing services and classes that meet the needs of all members. Keeping up to date with new trends
• To carry out inspection of all equipment and facilities, reporting any faults or damage to equipment to the appropriate manager whilst following all Health and Safety Procedures

Skills and experience
• A self-motivated, likeable, energetic and personable candidate
• Excellent timekeeper
• Able to travel to both sites.
• Undergo an assessment of their teaching skills
• Able to work with a mix of ages, backgrounds and abilities
• Recognised certificate in qualification relative to the class taught
• Experience of working within a customer service environment
• Experience of working within a leisure environment
