We are currently looking to recruit an UG from the following courses to represent their course on the unibuddy platform:

Archaeology
Geography
Geology
History
Journalism
Marketing
Maths
ODP
Politics and International Relations

*Please note, if your course isn’t listed above, we currently don’t have vacancies for your course in our unibuddy team, and would ask that you do not apply

The Unibuddy platform is embedded in our website; Your role is to communicate the real-life experience of what it is like to study at university, and act as role models for future students through the online portal Unibuddy. This role is approx. 1 hour per week, and you answer questions via a secure online platform which you can access on your phone, tablet, computer etc, giving you the ability to work from home, talking to future students about all things Leicester, from what your course, the University, the city is like, to questions around applying, accommodation right through until they are getting ready to start with us.

This role is perfect for students who love their course and their University of Leicester experience and wants to share that with future students

Working hours: Approx 1 hour per week

Duties and responsibilities
• Answering queries from prospective students about any aspect of university: the application process, student life, accommodation and specific questions about your particular course. Sharing your experiences with the future students, and signposting for any queries you cant help with
• Option to write blogs (up to 1 per month)

Currently studying at the University of Leicester *
Currently not in final year of study on one of the courses listed*
Knowledgeable and positive about your course and the University*

Experience writing Blogs

Excellent written skills*
Excellent time management skills (messages need to be replied to within 24 hours)
Ability to work on own and use own initiative where appropriate (some questions you may not know the answer to and may need to try and find the answer searching university web pages or directing to correct person e.g. admissions)
