An exciting new opportunity has become available in Stoke-On-Trent! My client is a highly successful tech business providing EPOS and APOS systems to the restaurant and takeaway industry. Their Online portal is a consumer-focused online food ordering platform enabling customers to order their favourite dishes at the click of a button.
They are in hyper-growth mode right now and working very hard to support restaurant partners. They have 20,000 restaurant partners across three continents already, their aim for 2022 is to double that to 40,000. The time for this sector is now, and we therefore are looking for Graduate/Junior, Front End, Back End And Full Stack Developers to join their team. Duties and responsibilities
- Fearless rapid prototyping for new projects and features (Mobile & Desktop)
- Creating awesome User Experiences & Designs
- Designing, building and deploying AngularJS applications
- Document design revisions and code
- Write & carry out frontend tests (accessibility, performance, etc…)
- Peer and team code reviews
- Maintaining code standards throughout projects
Skills and experience
As a new or recent graduate from University you will have or be working towards the skills detailed below:
- Rockstar level core HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Confident with CSS Frameworks Sass or Less
- UI frameworks such as Bootstrap.
- Experience with Task Runners i.e. Grunt or Gulp
- Expert level Chrome DevTools
- Solid Front-end Testing (including Accessibility and Performance, Cross-Browser)
- Extensive Hands-on RESTful / SOAP API experience
- In-depth knowledge of Javascript Libraries: jQuery, BackboneJS, NodeJS
- Experience in ReactJS & Redux ( Experience writing from scratch )
