Description

Located within Career Connect, the Enterprise Assistant will provide support to the Mentoring and Placements teams, biSU project and Unitemps. Working within the teams to provide administration and event support, developing a knowledge of each area. 
  • Maintaining a structured and organised filing system (paper based and electronic) for all project documentation and ensuring that the necessary project and funding regulations are evident within the beneficiary files.
  • To provide support in marketing and raising awareness of the Enterprise projects amongst the student and graduate communities. This includes the development and distribution of promotional materials and organising presentation slots across the University for other team members to present to the target audience.
  • Collation of all monitoring and supporting documentation in compliance with project and funding requirements, working to strict deadlines.
  • To put together information packs for the project participants – such as induction packs and training notes packs.
  • Supporting the Unitemps team with recruitment and onboarding processes for the Graduate Project Office.
  • To support with maintaining and updating the Enterprise and Unitemps websites.
  • General office duties such as photocopying, filing, printing.
  • Support the Mentoring team with events, sessions delivery, enquiries and the Mentoring platform.
  • The role holder is required to minimise environmental impact in the performance of their role and to actively contribute to the delivery of the University’s Environmental Sustainability Policy.
  • To undertake other such responsibilities as may reasonably be required.
  • Must have passed level 5 and eligible to proceed to placement year.
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive, and professional, with a commitment to self-development.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong capacity for attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Understanding of the requirements for successful event co-ordination.
  • All applicants will be required to demonstrate a substantive portfolio of projects, including artefacts developed through taught study, and independent self-led projects.
