At City Students’ Union we’re building a better students’ union; one that students rely on and are proud to be a part of. We want to empower students to be successful by providing services and support that enhances their experience at City and when they graduate.

With a rich history spanning over 125 years, City, University of London Students’ Union is the primary organisation representing the views of almost 20,000 students at City, University of London to the institution and beyond.
We are looking to recruit a team of motivated and passionate students to join Team City SU in welcoming new and returning students to City in September- October 2022.

Last year at City Students' Union we hosted loads of great events such as bus tours, silent disco, games night, crack the safe and the welcome fair. This year we are going even bigger and even better and you could be part of it. If you're enthusiastic, passionate about events and have a drive to improve the student experience and sense of community then this is the job for you!

Team City SU Duties:
- To act as an Ambassador for City Students’ Union.
- To welcome and greet students during welcome week and the first few weeks of term.
- To represent City Students’ Union at events run on campus with a focus on talking to students and building community.
- To support the delivery of in person welcome activity.
- To distribute materials and support the promotion of marketing campaigns.
- Other tasks as deemed appropriate for staff to assist in the administration of Union activity.

The role will take place for two weeks from 26/09/22- 09/10/22. The role is an in person on campus role with shifts varying across all of City's London campuses. The shifts will vary in times and length but will likely be between the hours of 0800-23:00.

• You must be a current student studying at City, University of London

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of people to generate excitement around Students’ Union activities
• Ability to undertake promotional activities or support events in person
• Good customer service skills

The compulsory training will take place all day on campus on Tuesday 6th September, followed by an afternoon social and a chance to meet the rest of Team City SU. You will be paid to attend
