A UCB administrative assistant will serve an important purpose in the preparation to the 2 waves of participants arriving in Birmingham, as well as the day to day running of the programme. These are young elite athletes with the potential to become senior performance athletes within their sports. There will be around 40 in each group (two groups across the games period 28th – 8th August). You must be available for at least a full week either 28th July – 2nd August and/or 3rd August – 7th August), 8.30-5 each day.
- To aid in the development and distribution of ‘Achieve’ accreditation.
- Help in the distribution of kit and info packs to participants.
- Day to day liaising with Achieve Director for key admin tasks and errands.
- Play a role in accommodation and transport information distribution to participants.
- Be our ‘Birmingham area expert’ to share advice on transport, eating places, things to see etc.
- Assist in the 'workshop' space development each day to ensure it is ready for each cohort.
