Description

Alphas is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and delivered by the University of Northampton and the University of Bedfordshire.

ALPHA’s Graduate placements offers the opportunity for any graduate from any University within the last 5yrs to apply.

The internship runs for 400 hours, this is approx 3 months full time and a maximum of 6 months working part-time. This will be negotiated between the graduate and employer.

Livelogic are a creative agency based in Northamptonshire, specialising in compelling eLearning, Web Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Games and Print Materials.

We’re a small team with over 20 years experience in the creative industry. We’re passionate about creativity. Whether enriching knowledge or delivering a better online experience, our experience spans a wealth of channels which means we can provide creative solutions to a range of scenarios
The successful candidate will build and maintain interactive e-learning courses. You will be provided design assets and guidance, along with an instructional storyboard and develop courses upon existing frameworks using HTML and JavaScript/jQuery.

You will also use e-learning authoring tools such as Elucidat and Articulate Storyline.

You may also be involved in building and maintaining existing websites working with WordPress.

You will be expected to liaise with clients and work within a small team onsite. Good communication skills are important to the role.
•Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery. Experience of responsive web design using the Bootstrap framework. Experience of cross browser testing and development.

•For elearning, any knowledge of SCORM 1.2/2004/xAPI or rapid elearning authoring tools such as Storyline/Elucidat would be a bonus. Any experience of working with Learning Management Systems is advantageous. Any experience working with WordPress and PHP would be an advantage for web development.

•Experience of using Node JS and Git version control useful.

•Basic graphics editing skills may be required using the Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop. A general knowledge of the benefits of various file formats would be useful, such as image formats (gif/jpeg/png).

Skills: HTML5, CSS, LESS, JQuery, JQuery UI, JavaScript, Bootstrap, XML, Basic graphics editing skills.

Advantageous: SCORM 1.2/2004, xAPI, Storyline/Elucidat, MySQL, Node JS, Git, React JS, WordPress, PHP.
Castle Ashby
Own transport essential as our office is based in a countryside village location just outside Northampton in Castle Ashby. This is an onsite role.
