Student Experience Communications Executive

To guide the improvement of student-facing communications and marketing across all WMG education programmes for currently enrolled students.

Work with the Academic Leads for Student Experience and related student experience teams to:

Support the student experience teams and related individuals across programmes to devise a communications strategy and plan specific to levels of study with awareness to timing, channels, and content

Review the current communications and marketing directed at enrolled students for efficiency and effectiveness

Recommend innovative solutions to student-facing messaging for improving engagement and understanding, including cross-programme communications

Suggest ways to capture engagement with student communications so these can be analysed for improvement

Analyse and report on the student experience and engagement of communications and marketing

Develop branded templates working with the central WMG Marketing team.

Educated to Degree level or equivalent

Demonstrable experience in a communications / marketing role

Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to present a range of content to a student audience

Experience of developing and writing content for a variety of channels

Knowledge of branding and corporate identity

Ability to generate new ideas and follow through to completion

Ability to think creatively

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, external partners and agencies

Effective time management/project management skills

IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Must have strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently to tight deadlines and using own initiative to solve problems

Excellent organisational skills

Ability to work as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills

Experience working in Higher Education is desirable

Relevant marketing qualification (e.g. CIPR or CIM) is desriable.

Warwick University Campus/Remote
