Description

Unitemps are acting as an Employment Business, supplying temporary workers, in relation to this vacancy.
 
We require temporary cover to help support the administration of the our 'Productivity Through Innovation' (PTI) placements and internships programme, funded by ERDF.
 

CLOSING DATE:  Wednesday 27th October 2021.

Complete administrative processes and services in line with agreed protocols in order to support the PPN placement team and activities including:
• Respond to enquiries received by email 
• Manage internal shared email account
• Undertake administration of the recruitment interview processes including; - Sending applications to host - Arranging interviews by phone and email - Liaising with postgraduates - Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates- Ensuring forms and processes are completed - Ensure electronic and paper files are up to date and accurate - Update relevant databases and ensuring filing is up to date
• Administrative tasks including minutes and note taking, meeting updates and communication with partners
• Liaising with employers and hosts to follow up on information as required 
• Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role.
Essential
• Vocational qualification (NVQ2 Administration with Secretarial Skills) and/or experience of an office/administrative environment
• Work experience in relevant role.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Good Time Management skills – able to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure
• Ability to take responsibility for own actions; to set and maintain high standards
• Flexibility in approach to work
• Proven ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
• Ability to solve problems
• Ability to establish positive working relationships and personal credibility with a wide range of people.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work within a changing environment with a positive attitude to change
• Demonstrably relevant work experience in a customer services environment
.Desirable
•Familiarity with Agresso
• Knowledge and experience of University procedures. 
•Experience of providing logistical support for events and/courses management.
• Awareness of the General Data Protection Regulations
• Experience of working with an HE environment
