The purpose of this role will be to assist and support a School Director in carrying out their leadership responsibilities. The role is full time and based at the medical school, with a mix of remote working. As the post is full time, current UoN students are not eligible to apply.

The successful candidate will need to have excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail; be able to work using their initiative effectively and have strong problem-solving skills. This includes diary management, facilitating meetings, data collating, committee servicing, drafting communication/briefings, projects and activities related to the leadership role. Due to the complexity of their roles, it is essential that you can work quickly to meet deadlines, to balance priorities and to respond promptly and appropriately on a wide range of issues.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build effective relationships with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders. Working in a busy and dynamic environment you will manage your own workload, juggle tasks, and meet strict deadlines. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail, with experience of managing items of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
£12.60 + £1.52 holiday pay
